Weems Brothers, Inc. is the name in land and marine construction in the Chesapeake Bay’s mid-shore region. Utilizing two cooperative divisions, we work to improve our communities on land and by water. From design to permitting to construction, we believe in being responsive, detailed oriented, and quality driven. Our services include pier construction, shoreline protection, general site improvements, and more. Our experience is unmatched and it shows in every job we do.

Family owned and operated for three generations, Weems Brothers was founded in 1949 by Edmund and Robert Weems. Our early years consisted of building irrigation ponds and drainage ditches for local farmers. It did not take long before we expanded our services to include shoreline protection and pier construction.

Brandon Weems
Brandon WeemsCo-Owner / President
Brandon joined the Weems Team as a full time employee in 2002 and took the reigns as co-owner (with brother Travis) and president in 2014. As a graduate of East Carolina University with a BS in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Drafting & Design, and growing up in and around the family business, Brandon has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry.
Travis Weems
Travis WeemsCo-Owner / Vice-President
Travis joined the Weems Team as a full time employee in 1998 and became co-owner (with brother Brandon) and vice-president in 2014. As a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Horticulture, Travis has over 28 years of experience in the construction industry and specifically shoreline stabilization.
Christopher Moore
Christopher MooreEnvironmental Planner / Scientist
Chris joined the Weems Team in 2013 and is the company’s head Environmental Planner in charge of project design and permitting. A 2003 graduate of the University of Virginia, he has 10+ years of experience working for engineering firms in Virginia and 13 years of experience here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He has worked on a wide array of projects over the years from stream restoration and wetland mitigation site design and monitoring to leading the mobile technology program development incorporating GIS data management into various environmental assessment protocols.
Beth Weems
Beth WeemsBusiness Administrator
Beth joined the Weems Team in 2008, taking on project permits, after a long career in Marketing. In 2013 Beth took over the role of Office Manger / Business Administrator and has been keeping the books straight ever since. Call the main line and Beth will be happy to help.
Erica Hiner
Erica HinerOffice Coordinator
Erica joined the Weems Team in 2025 as the company’s office coordinator where she provides human resource support, project coordination and communication, and general office administration. She graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2008 and has over 25 years of office and coordination experience.
